Hello there meat lovers! Paul and I went to Jack’s Joint last night to try their unlimited kebab. Take note!!! It’s u-n-l-i-m-i-t-e-d!!!!

Paul was drooling over mamon. Well, not a simple mamon, but a special mamon with butter and cheese that melts in your mouth. So, I googled “best mamon.” And voila, Segovia’s Cakes and Recipes ranked number one.
On our way to Segovia’s, I continued reading some blogs and reviews of the food and the place itself. I learned that the owner is Carmen Segovia. She started cooking and baking since elementary (Grade 3). After graduating in 1983, she started her business.
As soon as we parked our car and entered a small gate, a little puppy named “Buttercup” greeted us. I’m not a dog lover but seeing this cute little puppy somewhat melted my heart.
It is unfortunate that Paul did not satisfy his cravings for mamon. It just so happen that when we got there, there is no more available mamon. So, we just ordered Ensaimada and Egg Sandwhich.

Last week, we went to Century Mall in Makati. We decided to go there since we heard alot of it and became curious if what’s inside the Hole in the Wall.
When we went inside the Hole in the Wall, we were surprised of what we saw. It is a big food hall where you can eat food from different countries.

Have you been to a cafe that is so kawaii that you just want to stay there forever?
Well, if you haven’t, you should try “The Bunny Baker”.
From the design of the entrance, chairs to the food, macaroons and all, it’s all about bunnies!!
It is my first time to try The Bunny Baker and all I can say is it is soooo kawaii.

If I were to rate the Bunny Baker, I will give it 7 stars out of 10. For me, the price is a little bit high compared to other restaurants or cafes. The taste of the food is so-so. But if you’re into a good and relaxing ambience with very courteous staff, the Bunny Baker is an option.
Fan ka ba ng Shaved Ice?? Ako, oo.
Naalala ko dati noong 1990s, pag katapos ng aking klase, dali dali akong kakaripas ng takbo sa pintuan ng aming eskuwelahan upang makabili ng “iscrambol”. Iba ibang kulay at flavor ang tinitinda ni manong. Pero ang pinaka sikat ay ang strawberry flavor na kulay pula na mala pink.
Habang ako’y lumalaki, unti unti nang nawawala ang mga nagtitinda ng paborito kong “iscrambol”. Kung dati’y nasa tabi tabi lang ng kalsada ito, naging sosyal na ito. Ibinebenta na ito sa mga mall. At para maging sosyal, nilalagyan ito ng powdered milk, sago at straw.
Lumipas ang maraming taon at tuluyan ng nawala ang mga “iscrambol” sa kalsada at sa mga mall.
Noong nakaraang taon ay pinalad akong makapasyal sa Hawaii. Sabi ng aking mga pinsan na doon na nakatira, dapat ko daw tikman ang matsumoto shaved ice. Napaisip tuloy ako…anong shaved ice??? Parang halo-halo??? Nang matikman ko ito, naalala ko ang paborito kong “iscrambol” na itinitinda sa kalsada. Yun nga lang, mas sosyal na bersyon. Mas magandang baso, mas sosyal na straw, at iba ibang kulay na.
Pero para saakin.. wala pa rin tatalo sa aking “iscrambol”

I dont eat fruits. Not because I hate eating them. But maybe because of the texture of the fruits and the taste.
